How to install an eSIM on a Samsung Galaxy
Installing an eSIM on a Samsung step by step in SIM manager: from a QR code or an activation code, naming the eSIM, mobile data and roaming after landing. Galaxy S20 and newer.
What you need

Turn on data roaming
Data will go only through the eSIM you chose in the previous step, so your main SIM won’t run up charges.

When something doesn’t work
- There is no “Add eSIM” option
- This model doesn’t support eSIM or is locked to a network. Check for the EID line after dialling *#06#.
- No data after landing
- Check that “Mobile data” is set to the eSIM and that data roaming is on. Turn aeroplane mode on and off.
- Can I delete the eSIM?
- Only once the plan has ended. A deleted eSIM usually can’t be installed again.
